It's one of the most unique locations in all of India, a place with way too much historical significance & a place which was in the previous decade for different reasons as well. It's a massive railway station with more than 20+ platforms and with a blend of retro, classic & modern construction elements. It's well kept for its size & now there are sleeping pods facilities as well. Plenty of small vendors selling food & other beverage & for new comes / first time visiting folks the sheer size will be a bit intimidating as well. Plenty to see & absorb & you will definitely find a train to your destination from here.

Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CST)

In olden days it was known as Victoria Terminus (VT).

A prime architectural beauty of India. It's a heritage monument. It is just superb, you will get so entangled with its beauty that you will keep on exploring further and further. One must have an eye to admire the gigantic building, huge ceiling, gothic sculptures, huge domes. Huge pillars sustaining the roof the glass painting on the windows. Again just splendid. I at least cannot stop myself from admiring this beautiful architecture.

Its beauty gets enhanced during the evening when lights adorn the building and thus multiplies the beauty of this architectural marvel.

A prime and main Railway Station for local as well as outstation trains.

If you have to go to the central side of Mumbai, you have to board the trains from CST.

Subways are constructed for pedestrians to cross from other side of the station building.

It's the main station of Mumbai. You can get both and Mumbai local and other railway train at this place.

A fully crowded place for 24 hrs.

Very neat and clean, must avoid the scammer driver and cabs out side the station.

The signage was very well placed, making it easy to navigate through the station. The cleanliness was well-maintained, and what stood out to me the most was how convenient it was to change platforms. 

You don't need to use stairs or lifts, which is a great feature – you can access all platforms from one place without any hassle. The seating and waiting areas were also comfortable and spacious, providing a good space to relax while waiting for trains. 

However, one drawback I noticed was the lack of security for bag checking.

Though Dadar is a major railway hub in Mumbai, it lacks basic facilities like adequate seating arrangement on platforms, proper information display etc. They also change the platform for locals on the last minute. The infrastructure is also poor and out-dated.

Very poorly maintained station. In the cloak room rats were running around. There is lot of scope for improvement.Moving from one platform to another is very difficult. 

For long trains the platform length is insufficient. So train stops twice, first after picking some passengers in the front side and to accommodate passengers in the rear side.
