Though Dadar is a major railway hub in Mumbai, it lacks basic facilities like adequate seating arrangement on platforms, proper information display etc. They also change the platform for locals on the last minute. The infrastructure is also poor and out-dated.
Very poorly maintained station. In the cloak room rats were running around. There is lot of scope for improvement.Moving from one platform to another is very difficult.
For long trains the platform length is insufficient. So train stops twice, first after picking some passengers in the front side and to accommodate passengers in the rear side.

It has Dormitory services and waiting room of a/c and second class waiting hall at platform 8.
Cloak room just beside entrance at platform form no 8.
It has escalators and elevators (lifts) and Wheel chair accessible entrance.
